Since 1903, MSOE has been offering an applications-based education, partnering with leaders of business and industry to shape the institution’s development. Early supporters realized that their future depended upon educational institutions that could prepare men and women to fill newly created engineering and management positions.

Today, MSOE offers 17 bachelor’s degrees and 11 master’s degrees. The students who attend MSOE come from all parts of the United States and dozens of other countries. More than 20,000 alumni live and work throughout the United States and abroad, and nearly 2,000 of them own their own businesses or are officers of companies. 

Milwaukee School of Engineering

Timothy Osterhaus is an experienced, licensed registered nurse. He has worked as a nurse in a medical intensive care unit for four years and in a burn intensive care unit for four and a half years. Osterhaus applies the skills he gained as a nurse, combined with his previous experience as a 13-year aircraft mechanic and veteran of the United States Marine Corps towards excellent patient centered care.
